Who is behind BluBubble?

Meet BluBubble's Founder & CIO

Picture
Christine Kohl-Zaugg is the founder and CIO of BluBubble, an innovation consultancy based in one of the world’s top hot spots of innovation, Silicon Valley.  Christine has been passionate about innovation and especially the mechanics behind idea generation since her childhood–spending countless hours cluttering her room with sketches depicting all sorts of strange (and usually useless) inventions and ideas...
Today, Christine envisions the innovation field–as it becomes more established and matures–to become key in shaping tomorrow’s leading businesses and economies.
It is her passion and core belief in innovation’s power to better the world that led Christine to launch BluBubble.

Over the course of her career, Christine has provided strategic and tactical solutions to many large and Fortune 500 companies representing a broad range of industries. Amongst them, Nike, S.C. Johnson, Holderbank, Vivendi Universal and Cisco Systems.  At the same time, Christine has also worked with leading edge organizations and non-profits. She especially enjoys working with companies and organizations that operate within the tenets of sustainability, favor an open, holistic mindset and believe in a systems approach.
Christine has trained with leading and well-respected innovation organizations both in Europe and in the USA.  She is a certified Innovation Games Trained Facilitator. Her uniquely designed highly interactive and multi-sensory
BluBubbleTM ideation workshops and tools leverage findings from cognitive psychology and organizational behavior, coupled with game mechanics.

Over the years, Christine has been active in the leadership of several cutting-edge and pioneering organizations, including Acterra, PIBA (Pacific Industrial and Business Association), and Club Entrepreneur, a sub-chapter of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. She recently served as the Chair of Acterra’s 2012 Environmental Innovation Committee for its 2012 Environmental Innovation Awards.  A native of Switzerland, Christine is fluent in English, French and German with basic knowledge of Spanish. She has a Masters in Environmental Sciences from the Swiss Institute for Technology (ETHZ), in Zurich, Switzerland.

More information and a detailed resume can be found on Christine’s LinkedIn profile.
